Im a sopre and i got a D- in algebra 2, how bad does this look for a CSU?

I would retake it. Your future options may depend on it. You can explain away a bad grade by saying you were ill, family crisis that semester, etc, but there is no answering the next question...why didn't you take it over? Personally, I wouldn't want anything lower than a B on my transcript. There may be an online cl you can take with transferable credits. Try Phoenix University online. Do it this summer and then you won't have to worry about it when your carrying a large cl load next semester. I know you probably never want to see Algebra again - I totally understand. Just bite the bullet and do it.
