Shingles are bundled for easy handling by the roofing crew. THREE bundles cover 100 square feet. ( 10 ft x 10ft is called a square) A single bundle will cover 1/3 of a square. A roof that is 20 square will need 60 bundles of shingles. That's standard for the industry.
