I got knocked out and don't remember hitting my head do i have a concussion?

i was with some friends in my pool and i got trampled and hit my head on the wall my vision went black and my friend pulled me out of the water i woke up and was on dry ground but she was freaking out later i old her i didn't remember even hitting my head she said that means i definitely have a concussion and freaked more is this true ?
