I have a 30 gallon tank setup and ready to go. What should I put in it?

I know I have to cycle it and add a little fish at a time but I am just wondering what a good group of fish would be for my tank. I want some color and I want the tank to look full. Some fish on the bottom middle and top. I also would like a "centerpiece" fish. Something of fairly decent size. Something that would be the main attraction of the tank. Any ideas for my tank would be appreciated. Thanks!
