What should i do to my truck?

I have a 1995 Jimmy, Right now everything is stock on it (except the cd player). I don't know much at all about Cars/Trucks but I want it to have a rugged look to it and have the power to go through mud without getting stuck. In your opinions what should I do? I know I want Mud Tires don't know what brand or size. I want a lift kit but not sure if it would look good or bad nor do I know if I should go suspension or body. I'm considering a grille guard too but don't know what would be a good manufacturer to go with. I'm not planning on getting all this work done in one shot but over time as I save my money. Which of the 3 ideas should go first, second, last? And are the ideas good or dumb?
