You haven't given us any idea what company or industry you are dealing with...that would be helpful. In the chemical industry, things like explosions, fire, poisons can all be long term problems. In some Industries, they have serious long term problems funding health care and retirement programs for their employees. Chances are there is a lawsuit or retirement funding issue hidden somewhere in the notes of the financial statements.
